Just Your Average Panther Conservation Rap! :)

Hi Everyone,

A few months ago, my class was assigned to make a skit for the Fairchild Challenge. For those of you that have not heard of the Fairchild Challenge, it is a challenge that students participate in and use their creativity while expressing how we can all help endangered species. For my group, I wrote a rap and performed it at the challenge dressed up as a panther.. Anyways, here it goes.

There are few panthers left.
Do your part and help save the species!

We are the last of our kind

But look human race you've crossed the line
We're coming back,
Can't you see?
Conservation is the most important thing.

Stop killing us just for our hair.
Cause to us that ain't considered fair.
More like mean, cold, and very cruel.
Did you know there's this thing called the golden rule?

We're taking the stage so don't be late!
We are panthers from the Sunshine State

We go by what's in this song

Ya we're saying our extinction won't be here for long

We're the coolest cats in sight
And what you're doing to us, it ain't right!
But if we stand up tall and proud
Express our message to the crowd
We can make a significant change, getting you people to behave.

It was really fun to perform the rap. Alot of people clapped and some even cheered. I love to perform and this was something that I will never forget!
